Why No Bad Frames?

The age old question, "what do you want to be in life?". We've all heard it and for the longest time I never had an answer. It wasn't until I got into skateboarding and skiing when things changed. Every year in the Midwest when the summers would end and the leaves started changing colors, it meant one thing for me - winter was around the corner, and ski film premieres were coming to town. From Warren Miller, to Teton Gravity, or Red Bull Media House, I remember always leaving those premiers thinking "Fuck, that’s what I want to be doing."

I've spent well over a decade gaining as much experience and knowledge as possible in the film and photography industry, chasing that answer. It’s a journey that has taken me and my camera around the world from shoot-to-shoot and trip-to-trip, landing me on one shoot in particular in the desert of Baja, Mexico where it all connected. It had been there right in front of me all along, with barely enough cell service to purchase the domain name and socials, No Bad Frames was born.

"Fuck yea, that’s what I am doing."
